Sealing Rings
Lip seals are used where there are moving parts between them to achieve an effective seal by limiting abrasion.
Sealing rings in standard profiles, SL with plain lip and DL with dust lip, can be used for fluid pressures not exceeding 0.3 bar; on request, sealing rings with pressures up to 7 bar can be supplied.
The following must be considered when selecting the compound: operating temperature, number of shaft revolutions, liquids with which the seal comes into contact, and pressure.
